When driving through a neighborhood on a beautiful sunny day, you hardly see any kids outside playing. All the kids stay inside and do indoor activities. Most of the time the activities consist of playing video games. Now I am not saying I don't like video games, cause I do. What I am saying is these video games are changing the kids. When I was a little kid, I would play outside all day and beg my mother to stay outside after dark. The neighborhood kids would always get together and create some game to play all day. The kids of today just play each other's video games and do not go outside.
I have two little brothers who are about seven years younger than me and it is almost like they grew up in a whole different world. When I was their age my parents would lock me outside and tell me I could not come back in. My brothers grew up with Xbox and cable. They still went outside for a little bit, but stayed mostly indoors. Even though these games are sweet, we need to keep the children outside and playing in the fresh air. It is sad to drive through a neighborhood and see no one playing in their yard.

Lebron vs Kobe
There is no similarities between Kobe and Lebron. Yes, they are both extremely good basketball players but they play two totally different games. When Kobe plays he has the smooth flow that makes everything he does look easy. Kobe can drive to the basket, do a one dribble pull-up jumper, shoot a jump shot in your eye, can defend anyone, and hit a shot from anywhere on the floor. He is the ideal basketball player of his time. There is no one in the league who can shut him down. Kobe gets the job done. If you do not believe that then let me ask you this. How many championship rings does Kobe have? How many does Lebron have?
Lebron is a power house. He will drive you to the basket and will go through absolutely anyone. His shot is decent he is not automatic though. Lebron has a ton of skill and a lot of potential. He has a very bad habit of choking in the playoffs. There is no excuse for that. When it is playoff time, you put all the distractions aside and focus on the main goal, the championship ring. Lebron has had many chances to get there but always falls short. What he should be doing is working with the Cavs and working on getting his team better so they can actually do something in the playoffs. His decision on leaving was a coward way out.
Lebron is a good player, don't get me wrong. I like the way he plays, but trying to compare him to Kobe is just stupid. Kobe never bailed on his team, and he plays like a champion. Kobe has won numerous of championship rings and Lebron has won zero. I believe if you want to compare these two you will have to wait until Lebron gets some bling. Even then Lebron will not be close to the player Kobe is.
